Building on a Legacy of Care

Palmetto Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, P.A. was established in 1970 by Dr. Joseph M. H. Lewis, who sought to bring advanced oral surgery care to residents of Florence and the greater Pee Dee area. Trained in Boston, Massachusetts and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Lewis introduced innovative surgical techniques that helped shape the specialty and raise the standard of care for patients in the region.

Sharing his dedication to excellence, Dr. Kenneth J. Lowry, II joined the practice in 1974, followed by Dr. F. Douglas Oliver in 1999 and Dr. J. Michael Morgan, IV in 2006. The newest member, Dr. Matthew Lee, added his expertise and passion for patient-focused care in 2016.

Today, Palmetto Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons continues this proud legacy—providing trusted, compassionate treatment to the communities of Florence, SC, the Pee Dee, and beyond.
